The problem with the recent popularity in herbal weight loss diet products is the number of them that manufacturers are producing just makes it difficult for people to decide which ones they really need. Most of these have become very popular and their attributes well documented but if you are still unsure, a little information is provided in this article. While it has other attributes, it is how it tricks the mind into believing it does not need anything to eat that is the real reason it is used; something people in Africa have know for many years.
Guarana however, is a stimulant and diuretic that is made from the seeds of a Brazilian plant which contain caffeine which speeds up the body, thus producing a slight increase in metabolism. One particular herb that has been used for many years is dandelion which also has a diuretic effect which is not too much of a problem although some allergic reactions to its use have been reported. The immediate result is water weight loss which is temporary at best leaving this herbal supplement ineffective for long-term weight loss.
Many herbal weight loss diet products contain laxatives and cascara is one of those which is a natural aid to purge the body of toxins and waste. Although once again, this type of product cannot be used in the long term as it can have serious side effects from the loss of vital nutrients from the body.
Green tea on the other hand has become very popular in the last few years as of all the herbal weight loss products available, it has many benefits and can be found in a number of vitamin supplements, drinks tat supply energy and it can also be purchased I tablet form as well. A number of studies carried out on the effectiveness of green tea have shown that it does have herbal weight loss diet properties provided the user maintains a healthy diet and continues to carry out regular physical activities.
Thousands of dollars are spent on these herbal weight loss diet supplements, yet there is very little proof that any of them are effective in losing weight. Herbal products are also expensive and some experts believe this popularity is feeding the bank accounts of many large companies who are capitalizing on this with expensive supplements like Hoodia for example, which can often cost in the region of 50 dollars for every month it is used. Ultimately, there is no more promise in the herbal weight loss diet supplement than there is in any miracle in a bottle and while a few may offer a bit of assistance when trying to lose weight; supplements will not work when used without a herbal weight loss diet plan.
